ENEJ Coordinator Job Description

ENEJ Mission

The mission of The Episcopal Network for Economic Justice is to address the systemic economic injustices that perpetuate poverty and lack of access to life and community-sustaining resources.

Position Title: Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Committee

Position Description

It is the job of this person to coordinate the work of a national network of Episcopalians engaged in economic justice ministries.

Coordinator Roles and Responsibilities

* (Some committee chairs take minutes and do meeting notices)
·      Communications/Education
o       Maintain Data Bases
o       Maintain Listserv
o       Maintain Web Site and upgrade it
o       Assist with Newsletter
o       Respond to Information Requests
o       Prepare and mail materials for special gatherings (diocesan, provincial, Jubilee, etc.)
·      Fund Raising
o       Maintain donor lists
o       Prepare Mailings
o       Get out mailings
o       Assist with follow up.
o       Write Thank You’s to individual members.
o       Write proposals and do follow up
·      Prepare annual reports for ENEJ and annual financial report for 815.
·      Prepare annual budget and financial statements.

·      Maintain relations with staff of 815, key allied organizations such as EUC, IWJ,  UBE, and The Consultation.   Serve as part of the collective memory for the group and provide material and moral support for leaders and members.  Nurture the interests of members and help them find roles in the organization.
